About Dave
For nearly two decades, Dave Putz has been immersed in real estate — first through rental properties and rehabs, then mortgage notes. He got his start in notes on the institutional side, working for a hedge fund where he analyzed properties and helped decide which notes the fund would purchase — the foundation behind the tens of thousands of notes he has since evaluated. In 2010, Dave began buying notes on his own account, choosing to own the debt instead of the property, and has since acquired hundreds of performing and non-performing notes nationwide.
Today Dave runs JKP Holdings, a private-equity note fund based in Jackson, NJ, and teaches what he does through online courses, the JKP Note Buyer's Mastermind / Investment Community, Meeting of the Minds for note operators and servicers, and The Real Estate Notes Show podcast.
